How can counselling help?

Counselling offers you the time and space to explore and resolve your anxieties and difficulties.

By listening attentively and patiently, a counsellor can begin to perceive the difficulties from your point of view, and help you to see things more clearly.

Counselling does not involve giving advice or directing you to take a particular course of action. Counsellors do not judge or exploit their clients in any way.

How can I tell if I need counselling?

You may feel low in energy, anxious, worried or tired for much of the time.

Maybe you find it difficult to sleep, are experiencing fluctuation in weight, or feel more impatient or angry than usual.

You may have something that is worrying you, and may or may not know what it is.

Or you may be feeling very distressed due to the loss of somebody close to you.
